"the name NYnorLA intends to start a conversation about the perceived density of certain cultural phenomena or design movements in these two coastal cities in a time when we tend to think of ourselves as globalized. the majority of materials used in these pieces are secondhand in an effort to acknowledge the importance of extending the life of landfill-bound objects. most of the pieces in this collection are 'one-offs' and won't be reproduced. certain pieces can be made-to-order with variation, depending on material availability." . . . This collection was launched in the spring of 2018 at 802 N. Nevada St. in Colorado Springs, CO. It was shown at the Colorado College Fashion Show and photographed with Alyssa Denay Carter (https://www.alyssadenaycarter.com/), Brittany Camacho and Tess Murdoch (http://tessmurdoch.com/).
